YVR Update/Advisory: Traffic congestion anticipated to/from YVR/McArthur Glen on Nov. 24 & weekend for Black Friday Sales

It’s that time of year again - McArthur Glen Designer Outlet is hosting its annual Black Friday sale this week with its busiest day expected on Friday, November 24.

As a result, we anticipate an increase in vehicle traffic to Sea Island on both Friday and into the weekend. With the heavy traffic expected, we are encouraging everyone to plan ahead, take the Canada Line if possible and if driving, to please leave adequate time to arrive at the airport.

We have a comprehensive plan including monitoring of traffic activity and deployment of resources as necessary. We have also identified and are working with RCMP on detour routes and overflow parking options that will be used as required. Traffic management personnel and RCMP traffic enforcement will be on site.
