To engage with Sea Island residents, neighbours and other stakeholders within the Sea Island Community Association’s mandate and relevant issues to develop and increase community connectedness and advocacy.

SICA Community Development Committee

Responsibilities

• YVR (Possible sub committee)

  • The committee will communicate with YVR on issues that impact the Sea Island community. 

  • Assist in providing opportunities for public consultation and feedback. 

• City Related Projects 

• Advocacy

• Coordinate with other SICA committees to identify opportunities to engage and or promote

• SICA Lead projects Including Fundraising

  • Bottle Drive

  • Trailer Share

  • Informational Surveys or Questionnaires

  • Future Projects including Capital type projects

• Reporting

  • Keep written records of the meetings and activities of the Committee

  • The Chairperson will report on Committee activities and the status of the action plans to the Board of Directors.
