YVR Update: Arthur Laing Bridge & Overpasses Work (October 23rd-26th)

We wanted to let all Sea Island and Burkeville community members know about some work that will be taking place on the Arthur Laing bridge and a couple overpasses on Sea Island from October 23-26.

Work will be carried out on the bridge and overpasses overnight, with working hours of 23:00-04:00. Access for drivers and pedestrians will always be maintained but there will be some lane closures required.

The tentative work schedule is as follows:

  • Monday, October 23rd (Night Shift) – Arthur Laing

  • Tuesday, October 24th (Night Shift) – Artur Laing

  • Wednesday, October 25th (Night Shift)(Expect we will need contingency shift) – Arthur Laing

  • Thursday, October 26th (Night Shift) - Overpass 1, Overpass 2, Russ Baker Way overpass

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and will work with our contractors to complete this work with the least impact.
