Burkeville Mayoral Election 2023/2024 “Official” Public Announcement
We are thrilled to introduce our newly elected Mayor (Winnie) and Councillors of Burkeville! Since this is our inaugural election, we learned many valuable lessons!
After much deliberation and debate, our Board members decided to:
Accept the results of the paper-based votes at the AGM and…
Exclude this year's online votes due to irregularities resulting from our lack of clear voting guidelines.
We sincerely apologize for any eVoter disappointment caused and thank you for your patience and understanding while we work to improve our processes for next time.
This said, based on the paper ballots cast at the AGM in November of 2023, we are very pleased to announce the election results as follows:
