YVR Update: Asphalt Milling and Overlay Work on Sea Island Way

Overnight paving on Sea Island Way is scheduled to begin on August 20 at 8:00 p.m. and end on August 21 at 6:00 a.m.

Specifically, paving includes asphalt milling and overlay work and will be taking place on Sea Island Way approaching Moray Bridge. Once complete, pavement in this area will be improved to ensure continued safety. Traffic management signs and personnel will be in place, with alternating traffic.

Additionally, crews will leave their cars at the parking lot on Miller Road, next to Burkeville, and milling machines will remain there for the duration of the groundside work. To help reduce the impacts of this work, crews will be milling as fast as possible, will keep noise to a minimum, and will ensure there are no idling vehicles in the parking lot.
