City of Richmond Update - Laneway Watermain Upgrade Work (Starting Monday, August 21st)

City water crews within Burkeville will be looking to start replacement of the water lines within the laneways at Wellington Crescent and Miller Road starting next week [Monday, August 12st, onward].

Staff will be going around providing notices to residents 24-48 hours ahead of inaccessibility to laneway garages/driveways.

As per our previous letters, access to your laneway garage/parking will be temporarily blocked for one day between 7:00am to 4:00pm with full laneway access re-instated by end of day each day.

Residents are also asked to follow construction signage on site for entering and exiting the laneways as there will be no thru traffic within the city work zone.

IMPORTANT:

Please also be aware that there will be a temporary water shut off for approximately 4 hours on the day that the City crews switch the water over to the new line.

Staff will inform residents in person on that day.
